Sweet Home High School offers an exciting variety of courses and activities to help prepare students for post secondary education and/or future careers. The instructional program is designed to encourage students to achieve at the highest level possible, with emphasis on Regents, Honor, and Advanced Placement courses. An Academic Achievement Center provides support to students as they strive for academic excellence. Besides core academic subjects, students may enroll in electives from the following areas: art, business, computer, science, music, technology, and home and careers. Over 50 percent of the students participate in interscholastic sports. There are over 30 extracurricular offerings that provide ample opportunities for students to explore and develop social, vocational, and cultural interests. High School Inducts 68 into National Honor Society Sweet Home Senior High School is pleased to announce that seventy-four juniors and seniors have been inducted to the National Honor Society.  Inductions took place Tuesday, January 10 in the high school auditorium. 96  Sweet Home Juniors Inducted into Foreign Language Honor Societies Sweet Home High School is pleased to announce that 96 juniors have been inducted into the school’s foreign language honor society. 44 Sweet Home High School Student & Graduates Named AP Scholars In recognition of their exceptional achievement on college-level Advanced Placement Examinations last May, the College Board has named 44 Sweet Home High School students and graduates AP Scholars.
