Sweet Home High School offers an exciting variety of courses and activities to help prepare students for post secondary education and/or future careers. The instructional program is designed to encourage students to achieve at the highest level possible, with emphasis on Regents, Honor, and Advanced Placement courses. An Academic Achievement Center provides support to students as they strive for academic excellence.

Besides core academic subjects, students may enroll in electives from the following areas: art, business, computer, science, music, technology, and home and careers.

Over 50 percent of the students participate in interscholastic sports. There are over 30 extracurricular offerings that provide ample opportunities for students to explore and develop social, vocational, and cultural interests.

HIGH SCHOOL CELEBRATES TEACHER APPRECIATION DAYS MAY 4-12

Our PTSA graciously kicks of this celebration on May 4th with a Breakfast for Teachers.  Thank you, PTSA!

Rachel's Challenge members and advisors power the "Posters for Teachers" event from May 7th to May 10th.  Students and Parents are welcomed during lunch periods to sign the posters.

A Basket Raffle in our Main Office benefits the End of the Year Teacher Celebration. Teacher of the Year nomination letters by peer teachers begin this week. Letters of support for the Teacher of the Year Nominees may be submitted from May 21st to June 8th. National Teacher Day is May 8th
